Personal data according to [Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679) (the "Regulation", i.e. the GDPR) are processed in two cases: when measuring traffic, and when running the TOPlist website itself. When measuring traffic, the Operator, in the position of a processor of personal data according to Art. 4(8) of the Regulation, has adopted sufficient technical and organizational measures to secure the personal data processed according to Art. 32 of the Regulation, including a duty of confidentiality. ## Traffic Measurement ### Cookies Cookies are **not used** for traffic measurement. ### IP Address Anonymized IP addresses are stored for 5 days and access to them (always at most the last 100 records) is available to the administrator of the measured site. If the statistics are not protected by a password, they are public. The IP address is used for the technical operation of the service, i.e. for statistical measurement of page traffic. Under Article 11(1) of the Regulation, the Operator does not maintain, obtain, or process additional information for the purpose of identifying the data subject. ## The TOPlist Website The TOPlist website uses a page ID and a user-chosen password for login; the password is stored in [bcrypt](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bcrypt) hashed form. The contact email (or emails) is unrelated to login and the password. It can be used to send a forgotten-password change link and, optionally, to send regular statistical reports.
